I own a Saturn and this is one of the only domestic games I own for it. It's a tad short (15-20 hours, IIRC), but I think it actually tells the story better than the anime its' based on, and the episodic progression is a definite strength, since each scenario is done so well. Plus...It's fun. Not TOO difficult, but can be a challenge in places. Think traditional Zelda/Ys VI mechanics with multiple characters.* Lastly, the Working Designs translation/localization is spot-on.
I'd give it 9.5/10. It's definitely a classic and is a rare mix of strong storyline/character development with equally strong gameplay. I really should replay it sometime. *Definitely not better than Zelda 3, but I'd say it's about equal with Ys VI, which is pretty good. Jam it back in, in the dark.
I'm taking over this town...
I'm screaming for vengenace... I'm shouting at the devil... I'm not dead and I'm not for sale... Ain't lookin' for nothin' but a good time...
