Okay, question: I just came across this new magical drug that improves my scores called "Hyper Speed". Anyone else use it? I played around with it for a few hours last night and I boosted most of my scores by pretty significant amounts. Once I got used to the speed boost, it spaced everything out so I don't have clumps of notes I have to hit at a time, so I wasn't losing my multipliers on scaled rows of notes every 2 seconds and made it so my brain could actually process the solos. Personally, I think it's a lot more enjoyable with it on.

Oh, and I happen to love Slayer, but I'm not really looking forward to anymore of their songs in GH. Ditto Dragonforce. And it doesn't helped RB that it has the same stupid bassline I hate in Barracuda leading into Mosh 1.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Yeah, I don't consider it "cheating" either, but I understand why its' not the default either (considering how many people struggle moving from medium to hard for the speed). It screws me up a little on songs that require rapid-strumming, but helps for just about everything else...My hand actually hurts because I'm able to hit everything now. ;p

But yeah, from here on out, I'll ask whoever I'm playing if they use hyperspeed and if not...No big deal.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I've been using Hyperspeed 3, which seems to be about the same as earlier GH (which I went back and tested). I canned Hyperspeed 5 two and a half songs into it and HS1 and 2 didn't really seem to change much.

But damn...It works. So many sections where I lose my multipliers normally, I can see. Even Psychobilly Freakout makes some sense now. It's a double godsend for me, since I've been struggling with the speed difference from the Harmonix games to III for awhile. Now it's just fast and the board's cleaner.
