We just got off the phone with NVIDIA's Derek Perez, Director of PR, and he confirmed that NVIDIA will indeed continue to produce chipsets for the AMD platform. In fact, NVIDIA sees this merger as an opportunity to grow their business.

AMD certainly comes across as more friendly on the open source side of things, so at least maybe this will finally spark some decent Linux support from ATI.
