Swithcing from wanadoo (now Orange) over to Be shortly <3
Wanadoo/orange has been perfect in the 1year+ service, but on standard ADSL at the distance I'm at (2.3km) the best I can get is 1Mb. ADSL2+ will get more like 10mbit+, which sounds very hot. Plus, I hear the 1,3Mb upload speed isn't affected as much by distance / attenuation, as it uses different frequencies less prone to interference. Also, we're on the 2Gb monthly limit package, but consistently each month we've all used at least 20Gb+. Haven't heard a word from them :3 I have a friend on NTL's 10Mbit / 512k cable service, but due to NTL's high contention ratio (250:1 I beleive) she rarely gets anything higher than 6/7mb. Jam it back in, in the dark.
