I have a '98 Dodge Ram. Nothing finer for off-road driving. I've chugged this baby all over stuff to do field measurements, work on the farm, etc. It's a damn reliable truck and it handles nicely. The turning radius is a bit of a brute but, well, that's what you get with trucks, it seems. Mileage is nice and it also has a monstrous gas tank. Stock up on gas, don't come back for a refill for about three weeks.
A follow-up would be Chevy. That's what my dad drives full-time out in Hearne and it's just as reliable. Both of our trucks are quite reliable. Also, <3 Four-Wheel Drive. Jam it back in, in the dark.
Hey, maybe you should try that thing Chie was talking about.
