BWAHAHAH ;D I still have the full box and EVERYTHING to Lunar SSS & EB for the Sega CD as well as the original box collections of SSSC & EBC for PS1.

The originals were still quite nice. The PS1 version changed...

Spoiler:
Ghaleon's main motive. In Complete, he was just evil. In the Sega CD version, he never knew Dyne was still alive and went insane after learning he died.

They were originally supposed to be quite close friends. Sega CD? Loses his best pal and goes nuts. PS1? He's evil. And was jealous of Dyne becoming Dragonmaster, if I recall right. Quite a change in character which I didn't approve of.

Also, in the Sega CD version, he KILLED the dragons. He didn't enslave them for power. Originally, Althena powered the Grindery alone.

Lunar 2 originally had Experience Points for Levels and Magic Points for skills and what-not. You pool Magic Points into one big amount and it is subtracted as you upgraded/learnt knew skills. Also used a little bit of it to save. But I believe you could save anywhere and didn't need a save point. Just magic points.

How ya doing, buddy?
Hey, maybe you should try that thing Chie was talking about.

Well, define "first RPGs". I started back in the NES days and played this on Sega CD initially then on PS1. Love them to death and still do. Was hardly one of my first RPGs.

Nothing to do other than battles? Just described virtually every RPG pre-dating the PS1 =p With a few exceptions, but not terribly many. Meh. It's your opinion, not trying to attack it. Just haven't seen terribly many folks unpleased with these two Lunar games.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

With how RPGs have been lately, another Lunar game would only suck. Suiko V (Maybe DQ8 too) was the only good sequel-RPG on the PS2 in my honest opinion. The industry hasn't "wow'd" me enough. I'm perfectly happy with Lunar being dead-and-stinking in the water. The last attempt that was made on the title was for the DS. And it didn't do well at all. Was a miserable game I hear.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

You mistook my post. I was agreeing with you and stating my own opinion on why I agreed.

I was speaking idiomatically.
