CHESS. Holy christ.
Okay, I know the moves, I know the pieces, I know ALL the stuff required to play it. But shit, I plan *reeeaaally* far ahead and end up shooting myself in the foot. I once got beaten in just a couple moves ;-( But I absolutely LOVE the game.
A few of my plans have panned out though. Once I was playing a dude who was one of the better folks I knew. He had his king back in a corner with a rook and a pawn forming a wall from the front. He had, like, almost ALL of his pieces and I was down to just a handful. I moved my rook around to act like I was trying to stop a potential check move that he was setting up, but then just as he was a move away from check-mate, I moved the rook again once he made an opening and trapped the king behind his wall. Check and mate =D
My opponent didn't talk to me for about a week after that =( I guess it was embarrassing to lose to me, given his skill...
