I wore sandals once for a dress-up day in grade school. Never again. Fuckin' things rubbed my feet RAW. Was horrible.
I wear sneakers and don't regret it. I can't imagine having my feet bare in public like that. Although, I do walk around barefoot around the house and in the yard. Jam it back in, in the dark.
