Sort of looks like a Japanese take on the Western PC RPG genre. Hopefully From Software learns how to take full advantage of the dual analog sticks built right in every Sixaxis and Dual Shock 3 controller.
I have only played Eternal Ring from From Software and it was a terrible game. The concept of using rings for magic was neat but it moved slowly, the graphics were sub Dreamcast quality, even though it was on the PS2. Admittedly it was a launch or near launch title so the expectation I suppose wasn't there. The one thing that pissed me off though was that it did not use the analog sticks at all. That really hindered gameplay to me and ultimately I just gave up on it. This game looks more promising. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
