I haven't heard anything from him. Why did the break up, anyway? Now if ever is a perfect time for rage against machines, yet there's not enough music angry at the world. It's quite a disappointment, considering how little time we have before the year 1984.

There's plenty of music angry at the world. What's wrong is that there aren't any music that makes you want to take action in anything. That's what RATM's stance was, to take action. Do something. The debate as to wether or not politics should or shouldn't be in music is kinda dumb. You're gonna write what you're passionate about and if it happens to have political motives, then so be it.
I don't care much for Audioslave, I find their first album to be overall boring. However, the statement of them being the worst thing to happen to music is pretty fucking harsh and undeserving. I think bands like Limp Bizkit, Puddle of Mudd and other such bands deserve that title.
Either way, I enjoy RATM quite a bit, especially their first and last original album (Battle For Los Angeles). I like them for different reasons, mainly the first one is more hard rockin music while the last one became more experimental while still being rocking and original.
