Haha that is hilarious! Completely opposite of my parents. Enjoyed Lost in Translation, though I doubt they've seen Doom or Madagascar, and I doubt they'd enjoy it much.
I remember watching the rerelease of the Exorcist in the theaters and had a couple of teenagers in front of me, granted I was a teen at the time, I was more mature than them. They were bored out of their minds and started gabbing about something. It sort of diminished the impact of the movie.
I know I showed visual disgust when I saw She's the Man with my girlfriend. I only did it to please her, otherwise I was slouching in my chair, rolling my eyes and groaning at all the stupid cliches and rancid dialog. Certainly I'm not the targeted audience, but still.
