A week ago or so I bought Cybernator for the SNES. It's a Metroid style side scroller from Konami with robots. It's pretty awesome.

Then I bought Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen for the PSX and Omikron the Nomad Soul for the DC. Blood Omen is pretty damn rad. Great art direction, engaging characters but horrible, horrible load times. It loads anytime you go to a new area or open up a new screen for whatever reason.

Omikron is an adventure game from Quantic Dream (Farenheit/Indigo Prophecy) though I haven't gotten that far into it. The graphics are shit, and the controls are a bit meh. The story, I'm not entirely sure what is going on but I'll probably play more to see what happens.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I purchased Crimson Skies, Blood Omen 2 and Enclave for the Xbox all for 10 bucks. Enclave isn't that great but Crimson Skies is awesome and I've always wanted it, just never picked it up for some reason. I haven't played Blood Omen 2 yet, but I hear it's not that great however it was cheap and I enjoy the Legacy of Kain series.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I picked up Rise of the Dragon for the Sega CD for six bucks. Not bad. It's a graphic adventure in the future influenced by Blade Runner. You're a private investigator who has been hired to stop a Chinese gang from selling drugs because the mayor's daughter was killed by this drug. Plays sort of like Snatcher.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

On Monday I went over to Gamedude, a used game warehouse basically that sells used and new games of virtually every American released console.

I got Eternal Champions for the Sega CD, Enemy Zero and Three Dirty Dwarves both for the Saturn. They also had Shining Force III there, and despite myself wanting the game, I couldn't justify spending the $90 to get it. However, if Panzer Dragoon Saga was there, I would've snatched it up for it's asking almost $200 price tag. Call me crazy.

I picked up Actraiser complete for only 8 bucks. It came with the box, instruction manual, poster, the cardboard casing to hold the cart and hell even the plastic slip for the cart. I also got Power Monger for the Sega CD complete. It looks like an interesting strategy game.

I was speaking idiomatically.

I bought Blazing Dragons at a local game store for 10 bucks. I saw it before but didn't know much other than the fact that it's a graphic adventure based on a British animated series from one of the guys from Monty Python (Terry Jones) and has Cheech Marin in it as one of the voices.

I haven't played it yet as my PS2 doesn't want to read it. So whenever I get a PS2 slim I'll be able to play it. Hopefully.

Not really a purchase but I got my free copy of Let's Ride! Friends Forever for the DS. This is a game I tested for about a month or so. I must say that the gameplay is enthralling with nonstop brushing and washing action and many jump tournaments to conquer. The only thing this game is seriously lacking is a good game of jousting. Yeah that really would've made the one month on it fly by.

I bought Odin Sphere, brand new for like $16. Valkyrie Profile 2 used, Burnout Paradise and Condemned used on the 360 using a 25% coupon that I had for Gamestop. So a pretty good haul that day.

I bought Killer 7 on the PS2 at a closing down K-Mart for $8. It was 10 but there was a 20% discount on it.

Almost got Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne but I wasn't sure if I had that or not. I didn't. I have Digital Devil Saga 2. Oh well maybe next trip.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I bought quite a few games in the past two days.

Yesterday:

Star Ocean Second Evolution - PSP
Shadow Hearts - PS2
Shadow Hearts: Covenant

Today:

Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn
Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal
Icewind Dale
Icewind Dale: Heart of Winter

I also got a collector's edition of Icewind Dale which included a T-shirt and some other goodies. The games and collector's edition were all completely new and unopened and I got them all for $40. I doubt I'll play them much right now but I really wanted to play them and I figure that's not a bad price at all for them, especially being unopened.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Did you already own BG1 and Tales of the Swordcoast or was there some other reason you didn't get the collection with all four?
The guy I bought it from didn't have the original Baldur's Gate. I actually have the first one on my Mac.

Where did you find a copy? Also is it the original 4CD release or the white label 2CD one?

You should grab some patches and mods to make it more pleasant on modern computers.
Start from step 2~
It was at this local used book store called Bookman's and it is the original 4 CD version. What's the difference, other than the number discs, between the two versions?

I picked up Operation Darkness, Alone in the Dark and Animal Crossing for the DS. The first two were on sale at Best Buy and they were pretty much the only games left that I actually wanted.

How ya doing, buddy?

When I was in San Diego I picked up Futurama (PS2), Xenosaga 2 (It was 10 bucks), Blood Will Tell (PS2) and Golden Sun the Lost Age (GBA).

Just the other night I went down to Bookman's, local used goods store, just to browse around and what did I find there? Shining Force III complete! It was $100 but I thankfully traded in so many video games and action figures into the place that I had more than enough to cover the cost of it. I also picked up Automobili Lamborghini for the N64. That game was not $100.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I picked up Assassin's Creed II and Knights in the Nightmare at Fry's Electronics the other day. A few days before that, I purchased Super Mario 64 DS and WarioWare Touched! from a coworker. Those two were 10 bucks together, complete.
