While many people have negative things to say about this soundtrack, I love it. I really enjoy the traditional feel that this album presents. The opening vocal by Yae, "Kazenone"/"Sound of the Wind" is very beautiful and peaceful. Her voice is simply intoxicating. My favorite tracks include "Echoes at the Mountain Peak", "Departure", "Annual Festival" and "Monster's Dance ~Rondo~" (a perfect battle theme for this type of setting). I also got a chance to play the game, and because of that, I was able to enjoy the music that much more. Even though Tanioka took a step back for me with the Code Age Commanders OST, I really hope she returns to do the next entry in the Crystal Chronicles saga.
4/5 as well.
