With the Colts great offense and the Bears highly-touted defense, I thought this matchup was going to be one of those "irresistible force meets immovable object" type deals, but it wasn't even close. Aside from Hester's runback, it was a no-contest. How you gonna recover a fumble and then give it right back to 'em on the very next play? That's just unacceptable, regardless of the weather conditions. The loss can't be totaly placed on Grossman's doorstep but I think most of it should. They were still in the game when he threw that INT that led to a touchdown.
Anyways, congrats to Dungy, Manning and the rest of the Colts... especially, Dungy. I really like that guy. The league couldn't have had a better ambassador to achieve such a huge milestone. Keep up the good work, playah. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
