"Flight" and "Awakening" from Xenogears are two Mitsuda compositions that I really love. Each is a polar opposite of the other. "Flight" is energetic and lively, while "Awakening" is dark and somber. Despite their differences, each are incredible in their own way.
"Guardia Millenial Fair" from Chrono Trigger, "Dreamwatch of Time" from Chrono Cross, "Battle With the Devil" from Tsugunai and "Rhythm of Red" from Sailing to the World are a couple other pieces I enjoy as well. Jam it back in, in the dark.
