[2]: Why is my CPU Core on my gfx card usually idling @ 55 degrees celcius? Sometimes it may go a bit higher when even i'm not really doing much? I have decent cooling in my case. 1 Fan infront, fan from processor which leads out into the side panel of the case, then a big fan in back. The case is kind of in a cubby hole in my computer desk and i don't THINK there is anything blocking fans and whatnot (I will however check again now that i think of it). In the back of the desk it is open so... don't see a big problem there. My power supply has a turbo fan function but not sure what that does exactly, and the fact is i don't wanna invest for water cooling when i'm not even running on very high end equipment.

I'm going to assume you meant
GPU core. If so, and you
are talking about your graphics card, I wouldn't worry. Graphics cards tend to run hotter than CPUs. I'm not sure about the GeForce 7 series specifically, but My 8800 idles around 55, and load temps of around 90c are not uncommon. If it really dicomforts you though, I'd suggest picking up one of
these, although it does take up 2 expansion slots.
It brought one guy's load temp (while OC'd) down to 55c!
How ya doing, buddy?
