Funny thing is that they're the same VAs that worked on MGS. I hated how they dropped the accents, really changed the overall performance. The original PSX version is still the best!

Wow, loving the new music. The female vocals sounds like something straight out of Zimmer's compositions. Kinda wish the female anchore piped down a bit, cause it was kinda annoying hearing her go "uwaa, sugoi!"

HOLY SHIT! That trailer was awesome! So Raiden is pretty much the new ninja for this series, but his eyes are wierd or maybe it's the dark under his eyes (just a little awkward). Naomi and Meryl (who has a much more mature look) are both lookin' hot; Cambell looks well old, no surprise; and Otacon kinda looks a bit like Sokolov with the gloves. And at the end, Snake looking to kill himself, but I wonder what that wierd scar/injury was, on his face...

I also wonder who's grave he was visiting...

Man, I hope this is a launch title, I will so pre-order a PS3 now if it is.

Actually, it was confirmed some years ago in an interview that the "good" ending was the true one. I think it was an article in EGM, where they interviewed Kojima on the matter after MGS2's release (if I remembered correctly). Heh, but that should have been obviously, considering that Snake mentioned that he has infinite ammo while pointing at his bandana (during the part where you storm Arsenal Gear).

And a 15 min trailer!?! Sweet! Can't wait to see some gameplay footage! I wonder if Kojima plans to include MGO2 with this one.

Whoa, did anyone else see this thing? Apparently Medicom is making a MGS4 Snake figure (should be no surprise, considering they did Naked Snake)! He's gonna stand at 12" tall, and it'll have RAH joint/built, meaning this is gonna be one hell of flexible/posable figure. Scheduled to ship this November. Damn, I gotta pre-order one, haha, but I'd imagine this thing going for like $200. Be cool if they made a Raiden too.

Aw sweet! So the camouflage, in essence, is back! Wonder if CQC makes its return as well...

Man, I cannot wait to watch the 15 min trailer. I'm dying to hear more of the music as well as find more about the story. I really wanna hear what kinda of mix they've given the main theme this time. I'm guessing the song we heard in the 3 minute trailer will be the game's theme/credits song.

Oh and I noticed that Nobuko Toda has been credited for the music. Kind of surprising, as I thought HGW was supposed to return, the music definitely sounds like something that'd come from Zimmer's team.

Ahh loved the new trailer! And giving the last 3 minutes or so to Raiden, haha, pretty much has me drooling to play as him. The way he uses those heels, ahaha, so sweet! And man, Raiden took out, like, 12 of those Gekkos like there were nothing. Haha, but I doubt it'd be that simple when we actually play as him. Well, that's assuming we get control of him, come on HK don't be a bastard...

I wonder why Naomi is there on the battlefield, besides giving him the tranqs. Also curious as to why Otacon is crying. As for Cambell, wonder what his purpose is, don't think he's the CO of this operation. Then there's Meryl, hmm did Snake mistaken her for a rep from the Patriots? Hmm, I wonder if there'll be another joint effort battle. Eg. Snake being partnered up with Meryl or Raiden blazing through an onslaught of enemies. Heh, maybe HK will surprise of us once again by making Meryl playable instead of Raiden. Oh and the camera angles, I found it interesting that the individual character sections of the trailer didn't feature both Snake and the character on screen.

Kinda of unfortunate that they still haven't given us the new mix of the MGS theme. But it makes sense considering the trailer's tone was of death.

I think the missiles on the sides of their head is another weakness. As Raiden showed by turning the Gekko's guns toward em.

They've spewed "blood"/oil, since MGS2. Pointing out that scene of Solidus vs Rays, or just the Raiden vs Rays battle. What's really wierd is how the new ones leave excrements (or at least what appears to be).

I wonder this too, as Flynn's whiney Raiden won't suit this new - bad ass- Raiden. Heh, and the funny thing is that Raiden's voice in the japanese voice tracks (well, in MGS2 anyway) has always been that deep.

Well, considering that MGS2 and 3's first trailers demonstrated nothing but gameplay footage (though cinematic angles), I wouldn't completely rule out the possibility just yet. All the footage shown for the MGS4 trailers so far have been FMVs. So I think he's due for a gameplay one.

It'll most likely be $115-125 judging by the Medicome stuff Sideshow currently has for order on their site which is still alot cheaper than going through the likes of Play-Asia or anywhere else which were charging upwards of $195 IIRC for the MGS3 figures.

I'll most likely have to buy 2 though: one for home and one for work to display since some of our kit and technology is on the weapon Snake is holding, specifically the holographic sight.

Considering the articles I've read about their Rei and Asuka figures, I'd say it's worth every penny. Can't wait to get my hands on this sweet ass figure.
