New vids with the english dub at IGN. Setzer sounds like he's voiced by Crispin Freeman, not sure, but a fitting voice IMO.

Ahhh! Only a few more weeks! Damn this month has been crazy, my spendings are shooting through the roof thanks to the many new game releases.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Ah, good to know that he came back to reprise his role. I've been wondering for the longest time too, cause Squall has been getting little attention.

Haha, the funny thing is that Meryl was probably the only one that pronounced Otacon correctly.

Same for Sephiroth, though I don't really see any other way they could pronounce it.
I have/had similar trouble with Yuffie, Rinoa, and Quistis's. Yuffie was always Yuff-fee for me, when in reality it's Yuufee (only recently adjusted, thanks to AC).

Then Rinoa always pronounced as Rai-no-ah when it should be (according to katakana) Ree-no-ah. Haha, and as for Quistis, never really seemed to figure out how to say it probably, probably will forever remain a mystery to me.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Just picked this up the other day, pretty cool. Just started day 2, I found it interesting how they went back and redubbed the old VO for Aerith and Leon from KH1 with the new VAs. Gotta say I like the Leon's new VA a lot more than KH1's. The new guy definitely gives more life into his performance, than David Boreanaz did. And from that little bit I heard, Mena's Aerith didn't sound too bad. But then again, it was only one line.

Oh and got me a Limited Edition strategy guide, my cover ended up being the white one, sweet!

Oh and it looks like they didn't reanimate the mouths. Kinda unfortunate cause I thought they were gonna do it, since they did it for KH1. But nevertheless the lipsyncing is well done. Haha, also the chubby kid looks (the one with the jersey, forgot his name) like he's drunk or something whenever you chat with him in town.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

How much art is in that limited edition book?
Really? Doesn't seem like it to me, looks exactly the same as the Japanese version. Like "promise" and "yakusoku," etc. But like I said, the lipsyncing is really well done, that it's kinda hard to notice.

As for the guide, I guess there's a decent amount of artwork (no actual illustrations). There's no actual seperate artbook in this LE guide. The brown book is, apparently, "Jiminy's Journal." Meh, I still think it's worth it, all nice and pretty.

Kotobukiya announced that the KH2 are to be released in NA this summer!

Looking pretty sweet, think I'm gonna have to pick up this set too (along with the FFVIII and FFX figures, expensive!).

Couple images of the Play Arts figure for KH2 from Hobby Japan, not much. Also get a glimpse of the FFX Play Arts figures at the bottom. Heh, the Kairi is looking to be as useless as the Rinoa figure from the FF8 Play Arts line.

Some images of the KH2 Play Arts at SDCC from ActionFigs.com

Looks like there'll be variants of Sora, as I can see Sora in his Valor form colors and Final form colors. He's even holding 2 different keyblades. Very cool, I'll definitely be buying all the different Sora's. Also it looks like the fingers on the hands have articulation as well, something new to the Play Arts line.

Some better images of Sora's Valor and Final form, as well as a clearer image of what keyblades he'll come with.

The Play Arts KH2 figures are shipping out this week! Stop by your local comic shop to pick up your Sora, Kairi, Roxas, Axel, or all four (which is what I'll be doing, though probably not till next week) this Wednesday!

Also, the Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories manga is due this Wednesday as well! Which I'll most likely be picking up too.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Ended up picking me up a set today with my weeklies, just couldn't wait. They ended up being a little more expensive than the previous Play Arts, though luckily I got $3 shaved off each figure cause I bought a set (which I always do).

Only opened Sora so far, but he's really cool, the articulation is awesome! He's got ball and socket joints at the ankle, hips, waist, arms (above the elbow), shoulders (which is also hinged, so you can push both arms forward for him to hold the keyblade in 2 hands), and the head. Nicely detailed as well, real chains for his necklace and the Mickey head medallion on the key blade.

Pretty cool news, come March 28th there'll be a KH Complete Soundtrack Boxset. A 9 Discs retailing at 14296 Yen (on CD Japan), plus there's a first press available too (wonder what the bonus is..). The thing comes with an extended verision of KH2's OST, a complete OST to KH: CoM, KH1's OST (previously released), and some rare, unreleased tracks. Apparently the package itself will contain completely new illustrations by Nomura.

Quote:
Complete box set release of music from the hit Square-Enix game series "Kingdom Hearts" announced in conjunction with the release of the upcoming game "Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+." Box set includes an extended version of the original "Kingdom Hearts II" soundtrack (the original much fretted about by series composer Yoko Shimomura due to the shortening of many traacks), the complete, previously unreleased soundtrack to "Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories," the previously released original soundtrack to "Kingdom Hearts I," and rare, previously unreleased tracks. Package design by series director Tetsuya Nomura with new illustrations.

On the action figure front, Koto's releasing 2 more Sora figures. One is his Master Form and the other is his Wisdom Form, with both forms coming with 2 different keyblades (much like how his Valor and Final form came with 2 different keyblades). Heh, and counting them up there are actually 9 different keyblades (two different ones from each form, plus the default Keyblade you get with the standard Sora or Roxas) that've been released thus far.

Quote:
Two new figures on the KHII character's Master and Wisdom forms…

Sora, the popular lead character from the Square Enix video game Kingdom Hearts II will be sporting a new look this year. At Toy Fair International, Sora’s Wisdom and Master forms of were unveiled by Kotobukiya, distributor for Square Enix. Last year Sora’s Valor and Final forms were available as a part of the Kingdom Hearts Series 1 figure set. These two new forms will feature not only a new paint scheme for Sora but also additional tooling.

Each form will include two unique Keyblades used by Sora in-game. Reaching into the arsenal of Keyblades from KHII, Square Enix has opted for some of the more visually stunning blades. There will be four new Keyblades sculpted, two for each form. On display at Toy Fair were the ‘Hidden Dragon’, ‘Circle of Life’ and ‘Follow the Wind’ blades. It is unknown at this time what the fourth blade will be.

For now, Koto is unsure how these new Sora figures will be distributed. They are looking at a number of distribution opportunities, possibly including an exclusive for this year’s San Diego Comic Con. Also planned for this year is another run of the sold-out regular Sora figures from KHII Series 1.

Try your local comic shop, that's where I purchase my Play Arts + other kinds of merchandising. In fact, I thought they were only available through Diamond Comics, who then distributes their goods to comic shops.
