I still do have a giant Shonen Jump manga back from 2003 that feature this series in manga form. Althought I didn't quite understand what was taking place at that time, due to both language barrier and starting somewhere in the middle of the series, I did find the concept quite interesting and have wondered when an anime would be produced.
