Ya know, I really wasn't prepared for this news. WAY too much crap Square is shoving down me throat at this moment. I haven't barely even (as well as quite a few others...like lots of others) touched FFXII yet, and now they bombared with more stuff. I'm sorry Square, but my wallet ain't gonna fit, along with Sony's new toy on the line.

Maybe if they told me in E3 2007 when at least I digested FFXII, then I'd be whetting for more. Seriously.

In all seriousness though, I've pointed this out, but I'd really did wish they didn't give the news so soon. Now it really seems FFXII dropped of the face of the Western Hemisphere, while probably 90%* of Japanese players have already beat it by now and playing it for the 2nd round, seeing their gaming habits. I mean sure it does look nice, almost like a Vincent"nette" but of course I'm still skeptical. I haven't even had time to digest and comprehend how the FFXII system will play out, and no, I didn't get DQVIII for the demo either.

Planet hopping is going to be weird, plus it makes each world so small and treats each world as a city rather than multiple cities on one world. Unless you've got the scale of the FFXII's Ivalice for every planet. Whoa.

Speaking of Gunblade, I have NEVER seen Squall use his gun part of his Gunblade. Just slicing.

Already eh? FFXIII merchandise moving at light speed. And I've yet to see a completed version of the Kotobukiya merch for FFXII. What's interesting is the VIII figures were released a short while ago.

That's hilarious with the Selphie one. I'm honestly quite surprised the clothing is "removable"? Barbie wannabe, I guess. God, I still have YET to get the Fenrir and Cloud. That's # 1 on my collection list. It would go nicely with my AKIRA - Kaneda's bike.

If you notice the AP meter seems to be fluctuating quite a bit, but it seems our heroine doesn't take any damage, as reflected by her HP indicator.
Perhaps it's a "preset" amount of command you can input as your AP gets eaten up by your actions, and then after that it's the enemies turn. Although that's a hell of a lot of enemies to take their turns though. Just looking at the radar at the top left hand corner indicates it's a 10 to 1 fight, although she seems to be cutting and blowing them away easily enough.

Ah! gotcha. I'm sorta surprised people were just mislead to think this was a solo character game, but then again we've only got like 1 movie that last for less than 2 minutes to show it off, so I could see where the confusion comes from.
