LUCASARTS
I don't think any other game hooked me as much as the original X-WING STARFIGHTER, and it's sequel, TIE-FIGHER. Those games where the bomb, and made my childhood a happy one. However I haven't really played much of their recent titles as of yet after Episodes I - III were released. Pity.
SQUARESOFT/ENIX
Besides the obvious FFs games, I've grown to love their general take on other RPGs and SRPGS. Front Mission 3 was a killer game, and I'm still trying to get in the hang of Vagrant Story.
KONAMI
Metal Gear is delicious. Yes it is, amongst other things, I found out it also
ran fitness clubs in Japan (LOL). Really, I wish I had more experience with their games and products. I remember when I was about 6 years old, I went to a friends house to turn on TMNT and saw the Konami logo (the old one with red and orange flag stripes) and hadn't a clue what that was. It's funny of how many times I saw that logo and was just meh to it. Funny hey? I like their new logo better :3
BULLFROG PRODUCTIONS
Creators of legendary strategy games of what they've evolved into your modern day Real Time Strategy games. You've got your Populous, Syndicate, and Dungeon Keeper.
ORIGIN
Wing Commander is delicious. If there was any other space flight sim that got me addicted to sci-fi besides Star Wars, WC was the one. To date I've only beaten Wing Commander II and Wing Commander Prophecy and played some of Privateer. System shock was developed by them, but I never got to play it. TOO SCARY.
UBISOFT
I think Rainbow Six Rogue Spear was the first title I played which was made by these doods. Since then, I've been pretty impressed with most of their offerings, especially those of Tom Clancy's This and That (owned like hell). People complain about this company, I don't know why.
BLIZZARD ENTERTAINMENT
Who can forget one of my most addictive RTS games of all time, Warcraft II - TIDES OF DARKNESS. That game was basically delicious drugs and sex rolled into a cuban cigar. And of course there's Starcraft. Yeah, no body has heard of this game right, especially people from Korea, of all places. Also I hear there's this game called WoW, and there were even reports of the only reason WoW players bothered to step outside for sunshine was to grab a copy of Burning Crusade. They seem slow with their production, but then again they pump out pretty damn good games so I'm not complaining. WoW is still earning quite a bit of revenue for them, so they don't have to rush to get another project out, I believe this to be the case.
