Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() - What we all do best - |
I've seen the Advent children ones selling for $20 USD at various EB/Gamestops, however they don't have the same marketing going on here. This was in NYC last September 2005, if I remember. But I'm not all that for any AC figs, besides Clouds Fenrir which sells at Toys R Us for $70 CDN. Can we say Ripoff?
There's nowhere I can't reach. ![]() - What we all do best -

I'll have a look at the Japanese Kotobukiya site, since this is information for the NA releases. Also, I really can't care less for gasphon, I don't like the whole idea of trading with friends with puny tiny things. If I have a figure of something, I prefer for it to be reasonably big and have details that make it display case worthy SEE: models and 1/6 figures.

Simo, if you haven't gotten a chance to take a look at the casing with your real eyes (which I doubt so), it's a VERY nice case to touch and hold. Check out your local EB/Gamestop and they might have some on display like mine did. I mean, this sounds pretty sad and pathetic, yet none-the-less expectable from a fan boy such as myself, but knowing that you'll be holding the case with the game in 24 some days just makes me go, "okay then!".
I was speaking idiomatically. ![]() - What we all do best - |
Yeah, the pictures posted back a few pages were basically crystal clear. It's almost like a transmission from planet Mars hehehe.
When did you first learn about the game? Unless you were just hyped right after playing FFXI or something. How ya doing, buddy? ![]() - What we all do best -

Six covers eh? Doesn't look like the Judge will be included. ;___;
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? ![]() - What we all do best - |
Simo, that's pretty cool that you were already looking forwards to XII after beating X. You remind of a high school friend that beat X like the first week it came out, then he said that there won't be another great FF until XII. I asked about why not XI, which he simply replied that it's MMORPG, something he wasn't looking forward to, so fast forward 4 year later, here we are!
I'm pretty hyped. Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() - What we all do best - |
Okay shit, now you've made me want to play NOW. But I must wait, patiently. That is the right way. Or else I'll fail my two midterms coming up!

Dude! So they have a SKU for the LE guide then? better make my reservation!
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. ![]() - What we all do best - |

I found much of VP2 to be "dungeon-story-town dungeon-story-town dungeon-story-town" and from what I'm hearing, FFXII, (besides plenty of other RPGS out there), is also following the same pattern. I guess it's to be expected right? I really hope it doesn't fall into a pretty much a pattern of FFX (which was enjoyable, but felt more of a drag at some points) of constantly driving forward without much time of a "breather". I guess what I mean for a breather are things that stray away from the main story line that you can do, which may or may not be side quests. Basically what I'm trying to get at is interactivity with the environment, especially from the short game play footage I saw with Vaan in the first city.

So I was checking out some stuff at the mall, and I saw some dude walk up to the counter at EBG with the display case of the collectors edition of FFXII, along with FF Origins wanting to buy it. That made me go
.Man oh man, if the clerk actually wiped out the actual game for that, I'd probably just die right there. How ya doing, buddy? ![]() - What we all do best - |

Finally! It looks like the Canadian EB Games now have a SKU for it, and I just rang them up and told them to change my preorder from the regular walkthrough guide to the LE guide.

Soapy, yes, why are you choosing Walmart? Are they the only store near your area that will have the game for sale*, so no EB Games/ Gamestop?
*Given that they will have it come the 31st. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? ![]() - What we all do best - |
Guys, I checked up the BEST BUY flyer today for next weeks sales. It looks like the Canadian Best Buys are having the regular game selling at $49.99 CDN for a 3 day price (October 31st to November 2nd only), and to top it off, they're giving away free ART BOOKs, while supplies last. The webcode on the flyer is 10081022.
![]() EDIT: Interesting that the webcode on the website is "10075779" instead of the flyers that I have in my hand. Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() - What we all do best - |
