I'm one item away from the Conquerers Armor. I just need something called DEEP DOOM. Where's it at?

Also, I cleared out 100% of the Ravine. How do you fight the boss that "flashing" in the most left top row of the rooms?

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Okay, let's just say I got my ass handed to me by the 2nd final boss.

Spoiler:
Harry Potter's, no wa, Mr Valeth's Indifferential Judgement along with Rebellious Repent are what basically wasted my party. Most of my guys are around the 52-55 level range, and all have toughness, so they're at about 8,000-16,000 HP. Still, I need better weapons and armor.

Should I venture into the Sepheric Gate just for the hell of it, and to power up my guys, plus get pretty interesting items? I think I'll get my ass handed to me even though I'm pretty okay for most of the dungeons in this game, save for the 2nd final boss.

EDIT:

Diane Hamilton, I shall lick her boots. Holy Shit.

I was killed by the last boss, and I started without getting to this post. God damn, I don't think I'll be beating this game before FFXII.

First aid, how often does this come around? I had it before but it didn't seem to work too well, not like in VP1 where it was almost after every round. Where is the 200% healing stone? I serious need that, considering Valkyrie
Spoiler:
Can't cast any magic, hence my heal magic which was keeping me alive in the first phase, is now replaced by using healing items =/

Is it just me, or did Tri Ace REALLY pull out the stops on this boss, even Bloodbane was do-able after me trying the second time.

EDIT:

GOD DAMN HOW COULD I BE SO CARELESS? I forgot that the area seal stone still had the +150 ATK sealstone, no wonder his attacks are so lethal! Plus I forgot to put the Chasm Wrath (RDM and RST down 50%) onto the dias!! STUPID STUPID SPATULA!!!

DOUBLE EDIT:

WINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN I WOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNN

Ahem. Now, thanks Xellos for recommending me to do that with 1st aid and 200% sealstone, that made things MUCH easier ^___^. Furthermore, I put a chasm wrath sealstone and a machocist seal stone, so my guys did pretty decent damage. Plus, I like how the boss got a taste of his own medicine with the Machocist sealstone, and he'd take back some of the damage he dealt himself.

The ending was meh, but expected. I'm very happy I played this game ^__^.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

Going at him as a group got me massacred very fast.
Indeed, twice I tried to take him head on. Before I thought this guy was impossible, and dared not step into sepheric gate. But it's with the help of the sealstones (for christ sakes I totally forgot to restore the +150 ATK which basically no wonder made him so powerful), and the first aid was a BIG help. Rarely did I have to pause to raise my HP up again, only for those odd moments.

Now to work on that ho, Diane Hamilton, that's standing in my way to SC!

I have to say I was pretty petrified at first when I saw his attack radius of the Indifferent Judgement, it's radius was basically like a DEATH STAR!, but after lowering his RDM and RST by 1/2 with the sealstone (which helped out a lot as well), I didn't mind getting hit once in a while, since some of the attacks got deflected right back at him thanks to the Machochist sealstone.

So um regarding the ending:

THIS IS THE ENDING, DON'T READ IT IF YOU HAVEN'T BEATEN IT:

What happens with Alicia, despite this being a stupid question? Did she just get transferred to Valhalla (which wouldn't make sense, since Rufus can just visit her anytime should this have occurred)? I'm guessing she just flopped over and pulled of a very Cowboy Bebopish -Spike.

What's up with Odin? Did he get set free since the Gungnir was returned to Asgard?

How about the 3 Valkyries? I'm guessing those got sent back to Asgard.

And how about our friend Lezard? I guess he went forward in time to back where he belongs, and continues his research, and making homoculi in the shape of Lenneth, to um, fap off to or something.

Meh, I'm not too much interested in the whole time machine thing. Or time travel for that matter. I liked VP1 where it concentrated mostly on events at hand. Does the Lenneth know what happened back in the events of VP2? I should watch that sequence again where Lenneth visits Dipan. She says she recognizes Hrist's voice. I honestly thought it wasn't a time machine in VP1, but rather just some funky warp thing that made her hallucinate that she was back in the good old days of Dipan, similiar to that of FFX and the gang checking out the old Zanarkand.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

SouthJag, learn as many skills as possible for Angrim and Alicia, as well as any other Einjerhar you encounter. I personally think the best place to level up is in the Halo room in the Palace of Venerated Dragon.

Yes, I think I like the battle system for VP2 much more than FFXII, because it's FLASHY and it's the type of game you'd want to play in front of your friends for them to go OOOHHHHH WOOOW LOOK AT ALL THOSE FLASHY MOVES!

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Damn, I honestly wish either that VP2 was released earlier, or FFXII delayed, cause it's going to be a hell of a long time before I return to this game, and continue on with the Sepheric Gate.

How useful is the "first aid" plus 200% health sealstone in the Sepheric Gate? That was what made my fight with the final boss such a piece of cake. Hell, that should have been one of the first things I should have done, but alas, at least it came useful with the final boss fight.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Metabolizers are just like an accessory then, like grey colored? How do you make a Ring of Healing? What items?

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

Well I do agree the battle system takes some time to get used to. I think once I got the kick ass stuff from end of chapter 3, much of the rest of the battles were a breeze, up until maybe the last dungeon. Which dungeons are you stuck at? How about are you using the sealstones to your advantage?

I was speaking idiomatically.

Yeah that should have been the FIRST thing I should have gotten, was everyone with that skill (burned up a lot of potions), then get that sealstone in the Surt's Volcano Mountains. That sealstone is worth it, for 2000 crystals? Can't go wrong, and you can equip it on yourself, so you don't have to screw around finding a dias or anything.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

That's true. However I found the weapons lost their power or didn't seem to make much of a difference in the last dungeon. The monsters seemed to stand up to them quite well. I personally think so far that these weapons are the best you can get initially (without shopping/making custom weaps in shops) to work your way into SG, then get better weapons then.
