I took down that Fafnir like nobodies bitch. He was pretty easy, actually, and it was more funny that I spent more time getting into blizzard mode than taking him on. It's quite surprising that a million HP mark went down in about 8 minutes. Its funny how when I first started the game, I was like, shit, 1 Million HP? That battle is gonna take a LONG TIME.

How ya doing, buddy?

Nice, I might consider the Hell Wyrm next. I keep hearing it as HARDCORE, but I think I can manage. As for the story bosses, they fear ME.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Holy shit, there's a Bahamut in this game? I thought he wasn't in FFXII. And yeah, I agree with you, it's a huge long stretch but I'm getting close to it. How is Ultima like when you compare her to like, I dunno, a boss that is a step down from Yiazmat.

Anyways, I'm off to fight the Hell Wyrm. Any suggestions?

Posting in a MOTHER FUCK RAPED THE HELL WYRM THREAD.

Took that overrated piece of orange ringed shit sucker down in about 65 minutes. He was pretty easy, just LONG at 8.9 million some HP. Yeah his Invert was something I looked forward to since it boosted up my MP to max, while I just use X potions to save the dudes out of critical state then just curajas up to 100% health (9999 for most of the characters). I think this is the first time I've seen Basch chain up to 6 hits for about 2500 each with Genji something and his Masamune - very nice indeed. If I was low on MP (which was probably when he had about 4-5 dots left), I'd just use an elixir or H Ether to give me a good caffine boost.

For some reason I feared I would have overestimated my abilites and got my first game over screen, but not-quite yet! So far the only bosses I did have some difficulty with were Chaos esper and near the end of the Gilgamesh fight.

So how does the Behemoth King compare to this guy?

Fine by me, I found it pretty pointless to put Hell Wyrms HP so high, since the strategy was basically the same thing for over an hour. I don't think I'll enjoy the Yiazmat fight. Is there really any point to jack the HP so high when you're employing the same techniques over and over again.

Lazlow, if your party is around 70ish, you should be able to rape Gilgamesh, twice.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Took down the Behemoth King and netted myself a very nice prize afterwards. I found this battle actually almost on par at the beginning as difficult as the Hell Wyrm fight, surprisingly. I got quite a few doods KOed in a matter of seconds in the opening stage.

I need to know how to acquire Ethers, Hi Ethers, and Elixirs (lol) and the best way to get those items which I severly lack at this point in the game, due to fighting the last 3 boss like enemies. Where can I buy these three MP saviors? I'm finding I'm running out of MP during long multi-million HP boss fights even though some of my guys have over 700 MP!

How ya doing, buddy?

I don't get it, are you trying to start an introductory thread? Welcome Welcome - down the hall and to your left.

As for the MP, I find my guys don't necessarily get to zero MP, but once they get down to one mist bar, then I start to pay much more attention to what type of magic they're casting.

I have a question though, do I need to eqip some kind of armor that negates or limits Dark element to protect me from his dark magic?
Try using black masks to absorb dark matter. What levels are you at?

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

HAHA! Nice, guess which bitch got owned? I took down Ultima just now and she wasn't as bad as I feared, but the changing status did pose a threat, especially the HP sap and no items (X-potions were my SAVIORS in that battle), but when all was said and done, it only took maybe less than 10 minutes to take her down? I found she really abused her HOLYJA spell near the end of the battle, almost every second turn, rather than just simple attacks. From this point, they note that the Omega dude is not far from here, you guys think I stand a chance?

Also, 0 game over play for the win - never seen the GO screen yet - I swear to God!

I don't think I'm ready to take on the Omega, I have to admit I have *some* difficulty with the Ultima fight, and she's easy compared to the higher ups. I think I should just continue and kill Zordiak. Must be black masks first.

Also, I'm low on ethers for MP! HELP!

Instead of keeping constant eye on your team's HP, then pressing X four times to heal one character, the gambits will do that for you, while you can focus on the bigger picture.

Indeed, this comes so handy when your gambits can heal fallen allies with PD and Arise rather than you having to stop the game and doing it yourself. The computer can think faster than I can input commands.

I'm on my way to take down Zordiak. I found the note on the ground regarding some "stash", do I need to find this "stash"? Also, those slime doods in the new Shaft 2 of Henne Mines are serious business, even more so than the bombs in the Gate Crystal past Girguvagen.

I think I'm going to ignore Zordiak. Ah hell with it, I'm just going to rush to the final bosses, I'm more than capable at level 85 now. At 170 hours plus, I'm starting to get um, bored of this. Time for Resident Evil 4!

SCRATCH AND SNIFF----so I guess you finally had a game over? I
No not quite, I just got sick and tired of fighting the Henne Mines that I gave up on Zordiak, and I honestly think I'll get cleaned up by him. So no, no game overs yet, althought there have been a lot of close calls as of late. Side option dungeons are always much tougher.

I still think the Final Fantasy IX ending had one of the most happy endings. O Zidane you. I cried when him and Garnet were having happy happy love love time.

Speaking of which, loool Garnet and Ashe, we are Rulers of the Kingdom now!

Also, I somehow fear now I might not be able to get the Samsung LNS 4096D HDTV ;____;

After beating the game, I really have no motivation to go see this Yiazmat dood nor the Zordiak.

Things I didn't like at all in FFXII:

1) Espers are a total waste in this game. They're fun to fight, but hell to actually use well. And the out come isn't worth it. In the time where you spend to actually summon the bloody thing, you could have finished off the baddie with your regular attacks.

2) Strahl, what the fuck. I've lived with the fact that on PS2 FFs, you can't pilot the ship around, but FFX does it right. You can go anywhere you damn well please, even the most obscure places, with the Continental Circus -as well as get into the ship . With the Strahl, you're pretty much stuck to most aerodomes or some outdoor areas. Whatever, thank god for teleport stones, no seriously. Even the regular airliners you take from city to city are more acceptable.

It not like I'm a poor bastard to go buy teleport stones from Dyne at 100 gil a piece. All I can say is Balthier got ripped off, paying probably a damn shit load of gil to get the Strahl where it costs porbably close to 500,000 for that ship, where as I could get 99 teleport stones for a fraction of that cost, which would last much of my life as a resident of um, Rabanastre or Archades I suppose.

3) Only one dungeon that features you heavily fighting on a ship. The Leviathan is probably my most favorite dungeon in the whole game. I LOVE the smooth and sexy features of the interior of the ship, it's not gaudy, but very nice and futuristic.

4) Most of the other dungeons are rather forgettable. Raithwall was somewhat interesting with the massive interior as you go down the steps, as is the lighthouse of Pharos (which some of the interior was nice but much of it bland and forgettable). I really liked the entrance to the Stillshrine of Miriam, but inside was rather bleh.

4) Quickenings and special attacks. These "LIMIT BREAKS" or what have you are too risky to use, and most of the time basically act as a penelization on your MP, which sometimes is more vital than your HP. However, most boss battles don't even require this.

OFFTOPIC TO METAL SPHERE: The 4096D can only be bought in the Canadian Futureshops (basically Best Buy) but is an exclusive item. Most of the TVs now are sold out in my city and only a select stores have them. I don't have the money right now to get it, and my mom isn't willing to pitch in to get the TV, I can understand. I might have to fall back onto the 4095D, and miss out on the super sexy glass bezel. God I cum over that thing, and it's really the only reason I secretly choose the 96 over the 95. How is the Sharp Aquos TVs - I checked them up and they seem to be lacking heavily in the contrast ratio department?

Still at any rate, this is the first Final Fantasy game that I can proudly boast that I've never seen the GAME OVER screen. Not even once (which I don't think I could have kept intact should I have faced off Zordiak or Yiazmat). After you level up like crazy in the Stillshrine with the Negalmuur up to about level 85, and get your party using "Save the Queen" swords, you're pretty much set for a total cake walk the rest of the game. The only boss that took me over 60 seconds to beat was the final final final boss. That took me about 240 seconds.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

Simo where are you?

And for the bestiary, I never really planned on catching every single monster in my game.

Actually to be more accurate, I don't think I ever got a game over screen in FFIX either. All the others I have so far, at least once.

What is this Occuria? Marquis Ondore kept droning about it while I was sleeping. Does this have anything to do with Venat :3. As you can see, it's quite a surprise of how long I managed to stick with this game without even paying attention to the most basic of details. I'm just not the inquisitive type.

There's quite a few things I'm not pleased about the guide book, and one of them is NOT HAVING MAPS WHERE THE GAME DOESN'T PROVIDE YOU WITH THEM - especially for the dungeons where navigation is of utmost importance - The Great Crystal. Instead they do point form instructions that tell you go up the left ramp to deactive the stone of prinny dood, go back down and touch way point MCXIXIXIXIXII and etc etc etc ad infinium. The point form instructions I don't mind, but for crying out loud does devouting a full page to at least a make shift map going to kill the book? This would have been quite helpful to even navigate up to Ultima/Omega etc...
