Tomahawk, what if I get a ribbon (or a few of them), will they help if my characters are at such levels divisible by the magic numbers of 2,3, and 5? Also, you did mention that bunny trick to get a ribbon, does this only work once?

How ya doing, buddy?

Well then, I think I'll reserve him for pretty much up in the upper echelons of the hardy goons, like Yiamatty and Omega Weapony, and Zordiaky (probably when I'm exactly at level 97). My highest HP right now WITH the bubble belt is about 7500 or so HP, so from your description, my party would be annilhilated like nothing.

Quote:
Ultima's going to piss you off as she changes the field conditions (lol uber slow characters, MP drain, HP drain, no magic, no items, no attack, over and over) and she drops Holyja dookie on you at regular HP intervals (inflicts reverse). So your healing gambits will kill you.
Metal Sphere, looks like I'll have fun with Ultima. I always imagined that as a male character than a female, I don't know why. I remember there was an accessory that actually prevents you from gaining EXP, which might come in handy, so I don't spill over to level 98 or 99 for Gilgamesh.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Alright, I got my work cut out for me when I get home after night class tonight, so don't let education get in the way of your gaming.

1) Deathscythe
2) Zeromus
3) Exodus

I think those two espers will take the cake for fun, while Deathscythe is mainly just to run around and discover the rest of Necrohol of Nabudis (which I haven't even explored the middle part yet).

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Put a pair of glasses on then - it's a fucking woman! And why are you talking about putting the "Firefly" accessory on when you can just switch up your party to the right levels? God....
No no no, I EXPECTED Ultima to be a male enemy before seeing her for the first time. And I will switch up my party to a non prime number of levels, but at that time when I posted it, I wanted to tackle Gilgamesh at level 97, but after hearing that you can do at say, 77, then the accessory is no longer needed. Took on Zeromus, pretty easy guy. What surprised me though is that for quickenings to work well, you should at least have all your guys with one bar of quickening juice, because I found many times (3 to be exact) that I couldn't seem to chain anymore than the initial chain. I guess I press the R2 too rapidly, and then miss out on the potential strikes by the other 2 friends. Next up is Exodus. I had 30 remedies, but those helped out a lot, as well as the antidotes. 60 X potions was more than enough for this fight. The skeletons themselves did like 50 damage on my team, tis only a scratch. The only thing I didn't like about Zeromus was his major gravity attack that did about 3500 damage. =/

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

After this, I'm sorta out of things to do, besides going fishing. There are no more hunts besides Gilgamesh, so hunts are at a stop for now. After I clean up Exodus, the espers will be too high for me now. So now I'm either doing the hunt club, fishing, or that foot race, which looks so boring. I'm closing in faster than I thought! Also, as in terms of story, I'm surprised I'm over 80% done.

Spoiler:
Currently STILL at Balfonhiem, and I haven't gone to the feywood yet.

That was a pretty quick game, I have to say. Out of 100 hours so far, at least 50 has been for side stuff, wow.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Took care of Exodus like what. Also reached the 100 hour mark. I think I'm going to do some fishing now, since there's not much else to work on. Hunts are done, except Gilgamesh, and I haven't joined the hunt club yet. I might want to take on the Earth Tyrant, but I'll have to fight and steal from the elementals in the Westersand first.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I'm up to the Feywood, I quit with the fishing (got to midstream) and didn't do the foot race yet. I like how when I was like level 20, I FREAKED out in the Feywood, and almost died. It's hilarious to see now that some of them do like zero damage.

However, I have to say I'm gravely disappointed with the Espers in this game. I test drove a few of them, and just summoned them near a save crystal, went out and let them do their thing. I find the 1 bar espers utterly useless. I also checked out Zeromus Bigbang, and that did like, what 3000 damage to one of the Feywood giant bird beasts? Unimpressive. At any rate, my main team is high 50s now, and they're crushing most of everything that comes their way now. I once feared the Feywood, now it fears me. I also took out that Boss at the end of the Feywood faster than I could input my preset gambits for items in, I was like what, 1/4 health left? But I barely did anything!

Tomahawk, that reminds me, I've been playing all 101 hours of this game on wait mode, as well as middle speed for the whole time. I gotta try that fast speed sometime, makes it look SO OVERDRIVED! I don't know, at this stage, there are somethings I don't feel like doing anymore, like the rest of the fishing hunt, nor the foot race. I just feel like going to the next hunt and then some.

Also, someone kept mentioning a gamefaqs autolevel trick, hwoever I checked the special guides but didn't see it (because I'm blind?). ;__;

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Discussion about who the final boss is should be placed with spoil tags, please, as not all of us are done this game yet =/.

For spoil tags:

[ spoil ] TEXT GOES HERE[/ spoil ]

without the spaces between the "[" and the "spoil" and end brackets.

Output looks like this:

Spoiler:
AERIS DIES

It's good that I just by chance, happen to know who the final boss is by accidentally flipping to the end of the pages, hoping to look at the hunts, but instead ended up on the last page.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

Exodus was even more easy than the fatty chululu guy which I refuse, or more correctly, am to lazy to spell correctly. I just kept souleating him, with Basch being the white mage to heal up the ones inflicted. I do agree somewhat with Zeromus and his gravity attacks. What levels are you at that poses you difficulty and getting your 6 (wo)man team wiped out?

Honestly, I hate mini games like that, pressing buttons. It's just NOT FUN. It's not challenging in a way that it makes me want to improve on myself, and I'm the type that MUST keep looking down at my controller if its for movement that I don't normally do. How many times do you have to look down at your controller to press X to confirm you want to cast magick? None, right?

Freelance, I can see where you are coming from with the lack of phoenix downs. I was in the same pinch with the Chaos esper, but I prevailed. Check my post on the previous page.

I'm trying to do the Negalmuur Auto Level trick, but I think I'm missing a big step here. What is the Negalmuur exactly. I have a "DarkMare" that looks like a crazy horse, but the stats almost match up exactly to Negalmuur.

Level 31
HP 14000 some
Weak to HOLY Magick.

It doesn't seem to be spawning its friends, but casts dark and poison on my guys. Herm.

Thanks Vrex. 30 minutes of going in and out. I mind as well turn off my PS2 now and try tomorrow. Too busy with animu now. Yeah I guess this will be left on when I go to work and stuff. I'm obviously aiming for a level 90's result, so I can start taking on some serious stuff, or just breeze through much of the story elements remaining.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

First comment get for January 16th, what an accomplishment. I'm starting the whole AUTO LEVELING trick run at this moment, guys are currently at 65 and increasing. As for chain levels, it's OVER NINE HUNDRED. Too bad it maxes out so fast, and as well as the loot. ;___;

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I mind as well go all the way, since it was a bitch to bring him out twice, some times he came in NEVER, it was a pure pain to try to lure it out. But right now, just watching TV and on GFF, and running, oh machines these days.

Yeah, but then I'll have to get to level 99 eventually, and hunts and big enemies don't really help the experience meter at all. I'm just fast tracking it, and hopefully this will make (this SHOULD MAKE) the final few dungeons a cake walk. I think I'm read for Gilgamesh now, I'm about early 70s, I think. I wonder how bad this is for my PS2. ;__;

Well I've taged over 16 hours on my levelling up "quest", which in the mean time I sometimes forget that FFXII is still running. My main group is at 81 or so, while I'm working on my backup party now, which they are at low 40s, so there's quite the gap they'll have to play catch up on. I wonder how the Nagelmuur DOOD feels now. I'M BORED!

Finally got around to beating Gilgamesh in the cave. His attacks really weren't anything to be afraid of, but I didn't like the Enkidu pet. >=U.
I managed to get all four goods, so that's a wrap for that hunt, and it's not 3:00 am, yawn.

You know you're overleveled when:

I just wrapped up the Girvuvagen dungeon, and took care of all three bosses in a matter of 1 on a half minutes of game play.

The first boss took about 15 seconds
The tyrant took about 15 seconds
The esper took about 45 seconds

And my guys aren't even maxed out, and I don't even have the ultimate weapons. I guess I'm starting to see the real payoffs of the auto levelling. It's pretty obvious when you're guys are like level 88 as compared to some boss sitting only at level 45. At any rate, I got to go pick up Reddas, and so far no new hunts have come along.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Wow, I'm working on the 40th hunt of Fafnir, I think, and this hunt just doesn't want to come out. I'm on the Western Side of the Pana' Rift, and I keep tracking back and forth trying to get the weather to turn to blizzard, but it just so happens I've been doing this for about 30 minutes now.

And I almost got a half decent TV deal today, 4096D with 5.1 system and DVD player for $2900, but that's no real deal, honestly.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Also, how difficult is this Fafnir guy. Basically most of my hunts now have been pieces of cake. I hear this guy can dish out 7000 damage, but I do have bubble for all my guys, even Reddas is tagging along. I'm high 80s for my level.
