Older CRTs are by far the worst offenders in the magnetic disturbance category. My parents' upstairs raido emitted a buzzing noise when I used an old ass 1993 CRT. As long as the deguassing doesn't have lasting effects on the other monitor, there shouldn't be any problems.
I used to constantly deguass a monitor from 1997, it died seven years later; while that 1993 monitor which can't deguass on itself will still work if I need it. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
