![]() Fastest download speed! But look at my shit upstream. I'm hoping FiOS comes to my town soon so I can get 2000kb/s upstream and oh 15000kb/s downstream. Comcast gives me ultrafast downloads but easily the worst down/upstream ratio of any ISP I've seen to date. Even 1:10 would work nice, but no I get some 1:55 ratio here. Funny thing I live only several miles away from Portland yet I get pings of over 100 while San Jose gives me pings of under 50 ![]() Most amazing jew boots |
I see now one's beat my near 20000Kbps download speeds. Still I only get those speeds when downloading a 1-2MB patch or something else stupidly small. I'd be willing to get even 3000Kbps if my connection had a synchronous upload/download bandwidth.
I'm curious to see how someone with 56K would fare with this speed test. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |

For a broadband ISP, that's decent. But for Bittorrent, you could do a lot better (trust me I know ).Oh yeah if you use Cable, make sure to unplug your modem (from a power source) every month or so. When it powers back on, if they upped your bandwidth the modem will register it. I was speaking idiomatically.
