Any idea why foobar2000 0.9 won't use Id3v2 ASCII as opposed to Unicode tags? Unicode and UTF-8 tags are unreadable on my current CD/Mp3 player.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Yeah, I use ASCII tags in 0.8.3, but in 0.9 that option is absent, I have to use an ID3 tag utility to change the Unicode tags to ASCII.

There's nowhere I can't reach.
