Unfortunately, in today's society, anything less than a championship is considered a dissappointment by some. look at the Cowboys. the expectations are terribly high this year. i'll be happy even if we win just the NFC East. honestly, the toughest competition is the Panthers. i think we can beat most of the other teams in the NFC.
If you're a bottom dweller and get to 8-8 or 9-7 the next year, that's a pretty darn good tunaround.

Speaking of the Hall of Fame inductions, I didn't know Troy aikman had emotions., i was pleasantly surprised to see him almost cry. he had a great speech. i was gald to see all the former players in the crowd: Emmitt, Michael, Moose.... *wipes tear from eye* lol.... oh the good ol days...

Rumors have it that Terrell's injury is more serious than advertised. just great... they sign him to a nice deal, the hopes are legitimatly high this year, and he's out for the few few games. F--K that! he better not play at all on saturday against the Seahawks. he needs to rest as ASAP for the regular season. not too mention we play the underrated Jaguars in week 1. and what's this??? freddy mitchell "the people's champ" might sign the team??? say it ain't so!!!!!

Now I'm not a mean person, but I was happy to see Clinton Portis go down w/a shoulder injury!!

TooBad

If he's out for a significant number of weeks, this could spell the end of the 'skins season.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Well, the latest word is that Portis is done for the pre-season. He might even miss the 1st game of the regular season. This is just further proof that the pre-season is too long.

As a Cowboys fan, i think it's hilarious. As long as they perform on the field, sweep the division and get to the playoffs, i'm cool w/it. Bledsoe's on fire so far and w/T.O. coming back, this could be a very good offense!

the misses shouldn't keep anyone away from picking Vanderjagt up late in a FF draft.

The Doplhins could be the surprise team in the AFC. (I'm not sure if they'd qualify as a surprise if they ended last season on a winning streak). If Daunte can stay healthy, the offense might put up big numbers. Their defense is always consistent. it's not a top tier d, but it's far from poor.

You may love that image, but you got shutout by the RAVENS!!!!! jesus, at least the Cowboys scored. goddamn cowboys..... why can't drew make good decisions??? the O-ine could protect better for one. plus it helps when the refs don't call the Offensive Interference call on Wilford in the 2nd quarter. he just about ripped off Henry's head!!! well, 15-1 isn't a bad record.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

1) Thank you Giants!!! Eli "I have Down-Syndrome" Manning came through for the Cowboys! I think this proves that the Eagles can't close out games.

2) Teams I'm impressed with: Chargers, Falcons. I really thought the Bucs would win that game. at least they're not the only 0-2 team in the division!

3) A nice Cowboys win, even though T.O. broke his finger. I hope he's back for the Philly game. that's alright, we'll beat the shit out them anyway even if T.O. is sidelined.

4) jesus, the 'skins absolutely suck!!! their offense is HORRENDOUS!!!!!!!! hahahahahaha.....

geez.... poor Bucs.
There was a vote yesterday on ESPN.com asking when the Bucs would get there 1st win. i voted not until week 9 when the Saints come marching into town.

Who really cares?? as long as he plays well on Sundays and helps Dallas win, he can keep on taking pain meds.

That's the Cowboys team i wanted to see. yes, their opponent was horrible, but the Cowboys were hitting on all cylinders. Julius looked great, Bledsoe was hitting his receivers and the defense played very well. i'm very happy going into the Philly game next week. T.O. and Terry Glenn wil run circles against an overrated secondary!

Redskins still suck (how the hell they beat the jags??? what the hell.....)

I was speaking idiomatically.
