stick shift is the only way to go! it's much more exciting than an automatic. in traffic, it can be a hassle, but it's worth every penny of it.
as for women driving a stick, if you can find 'em, grind 'em. my sister and step-mom can drive a pretty mean stick. Jam it back in, in the dark.
