1. What would your family do if you told them you were doing drugs?
This is the issue that they're the most protective on. They'd probably try to get me into rehab, and get all my family and friends involved in all sorts of interventions and stuff. 2. If you told them you were going to marry some one of another race? I don't think it would be an issue at all. 3. What would they do if you told them you were gay? Probably not an issue. 4. That you decided not to go to college, even though you have the grades and money to go? There would be many arguments, and they probably wouldn't be happy, but in the end they'd support me in my decisions. 5. That you were going to change your religion to one your family has never followed? Maybe a little bit of resistance, but in the end they'd support my decision. 6. What would your family do if you said you had killed a person and needed help hiding from the police? They would probably encourage me to turn myself in. After that, they'd probably refuse to help me further than giving me an hour's head start. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
