Super Mario Brothers: The Lost Levels on NES. I've beaten it on SNES in All-Stars because when you continue you start at the start of the level instead of at the start of the world, but the NES version is excruciating. I downloaded it on the VC and beat it, but that was only after the ability to save your progress so it doesn't count, even then it took me about 2 months.
