Stupid Washington Post review spoiled the whole Hiro bit in their review before the pilot even aired. It would have been nice to see that without such a massive spoiler.

But they haven't said the past is completely unalterable. Otherwise, why did future Hiro come back and warn Peter Petrelli to seek out the artist? Didn't Hiro say something about how Peter always told him he had wished he could have done something (I don't remember his exact words), which would indicate that future Hiro changed the present by talking to Peter.

Isn't it odd that Mr. Bennet's government ID doesn't list his first name? They're trying to hide his name for some reason, but they shouldn't have bothered to show it. In this day and age, it's just not possible to get an ID that doesn't have a first name.

Also, I'm loving Christopher Eccleston's character. It's so much like the Doctor, but with a darker twist. The whole pivotal scene with Peter this week was just perfect.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Actually, I was a little flumoxed by Peter's explosion. If it was an atomic explosion equivalent to a nuclear bomb (and Sprague's radiation would indicate that), wouldn't exploding over New York City shower the populace with fallout? Also, if you look directly at a nuclear blast, can't it burn out your retinas the same as looking at the sun for too long?

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

I stand corrected. Nuclear fallout comes from the radioactive debris kicked up from the explosion, so if it exploded in midair, then there's no fallout. As for the blindness, most likely they would have experienced temporary blindness for 3-10 minutes, but that's about the worst that could have happened.
