If he's behind bulletproof glass, doesn't that also imply that his booth is locked from the inside? This would mean that if he did have a heart attack, there'd be nothing you could do anyway, so you're not obligated to help him; you could just stand back and watch the show.
That said, it sounds like you did plenty, making him look like an idiot in front of a crowd. It sounds like continuing to live would be a worse punishment for this guy.
