With credit to CAG, you can preorder the game on PS3 from the Ubisoft site for $8.99 (valid in US and Canada only, it seems). Since 1) co-op play is offline only, and 2) MSRP on Live will be $15, there's no reason not to pick it up on PS3 if you have the console. You also get a free PlayStation Home t-shirt, but who cares?
1. Go here. 2. Enter the promo code 10THANKS (all caps or it won't work). 3. Give them your credit card, and they'll give you a download code that will work on August 10 when the game is released. Jam it back in, in the dark.  |

My Scott Pilgrim has super powers.
 I love this game, but man is it glitchy. It locked up my PS3 once tonight when I looked at my status, and then a little while later, that happened. I was on a parallel plane to the rest of the game, so I could walk around, but couldn't actually hit any enemies. There's nowhere I can't reach. |

For anyone who's interested, the lead animator for the game put up a bunch of animated .gifs on his livejournal.
Take a look. Download a .rar folder with all of them This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
