When I first moved in to my current apartment, my next door neighbor (I call him The Todd), played loud music almost every night, from around 6pm to midnight. I first tried knocking on his door to ask him to turn it down, which he ignored, so I ended up writing 3 or 4 letters of complaint to the apartment management. With each letter, they sent him increasingly threatening letters warning him of possible eviction, and he finally started keeping it down. Every couple of months he turns the music up, and he has his friends over watching soccer/football on the weekends, but that's managable. Not to mention the smell of weed wafting from his apartment and the smell of his cat's litterbox in the hallway, but that's a whole different problem.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I tried blaring loud music at The Todd, but it didn't faze him. If having the Chocobo Racing soundtrack blared at top volume simultaneously from my computer and TV with the speakers facing the wall didn't get the point across, nothing will.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Doesn't the complex have some sort of zero tolerance policy regarding drugs? I think the place I'm living now has some kind of clause in the lease that if you're convicted of selling drugs, that's an automatic eviction.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
