You must have been at St. Louis Mills, Lukage. I've never been there, but since your photo looks exactly like the inside of Arundel Mills near me, that's my guess. My only question is, do they sell Homerun Bats at the Earthbound Trading Company?
As for preordering, I work a 9-5 job, and I'd feel silly taking off work to preorder a video game system. Taking off work to play it, sure, but taking off to stand in line to get my name on list, no. I'm hoping that since there are lots of potential purchase points around me, I'll find one close to launch. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
EB/Gamestop supposedly will pay $50 in store credit for a GC right now, which is tempting. The only problem is that I'm enjoying Mario Baseball right now, and I'd rather not give up my Gameboy Player. I've still got my GB Color, but you never know.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
My experience was relatively smooth. I had my Wii preordered at TRU, so I went to Circuit City because they have a sale on games and accessories (I wanted a classic controller). They sold the last one to a person in front of me, but it really didn't matter. The manager was telling people that they would only sell accessories to customers buying consoles, which pissed some people off. I got TP and Rayman and headed out to TRU.
The TRU was incredibly disorganized. There was a big line in the R-zone, and another at the service desk, with no indication of what was going on where. I finally figured out preorders were at the service desk, which only had one register going. Not to mention, if you wanted something you hadn't preordered (like a controller), you had to go get in the R-zone separate from your console purchase. It took an hour, but I finally got my Wii, which works great. I'll get a classic controller some other time, since there aren't any virtual console games I want right now anyway. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
I was speaking idiomatically. |
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
Yeah, when I went yesterday, they were only selling accessories to those who bought consoles. I went to a different store today, and bought the last Wiipoints card (the only accessory left in the store). I was looking for a classic controller, but the online site says none are in stock in my area. You might have some luck finding Wiipoints cards, though, because most folks wouldn't think of that as an accessory.

Anyone else notice the 2 new virtual console games today? Bomberman '93 and Bonks Adventure are up now.
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
Have you tried a replacement for your sensor bar, Infernal? Maybe a couple of flashlights or something to create a stronger IR signal?
Most amazing jew boots |
It's nifty enough; as least it's something else to do with your miis. What's up with asking what region (state) I live in? Will there be state-specific questions like "What goes best on a crab, butter or Old Bay?"
Edit: Cool, I didn't notice the box where you can suggest your own question. That's pretty spiffy, right there. How ya doing, buddy? |
You've been watching too much of teh pr0n, Tritoch. The Professor looks like Mr. Peanut to me.
