Capital One is a morally bankrupt company. They actively market to low-income families, and their interest rates are not competitive with higher-end credit card companies. Most people who own a Capital One card have it because it's their only option.

Besides the fact that they purposely target poor people, they also are notorious for early brand recognition antics such as sponsoring the Barbie cash register toy. If you look really closely, you'll see that Barbie is swiping a Capital One card when she makes her little Barbie purchases. That's just wrong somehow.

Also, I would highly recommend NOT GETTING A CREDIT CARD...EVER. Unless you're extremely disciplined and you're certain that you can pay the balance off in full every month. You can do anything with a debit card that has a Visa or MasterCard logo on it that you can do with an actual credit card.

Jam it back in, in the dark.
