My parents always called me by my middle name, so that's all I've ever gone by. It's Elka, and I don't mind it.
My first name is Judith, which is kind of not my favorite name. If anyone called me Judith, though, I wouldn't get all bent out of shape over it. Jam it back in, in the dark.  |

I love how some people are so traumatized by their middle name that they won't even post it in a thread ABOUT MIDDLE NAMES.

Are you serious? I used to make fun of my ex-husband relentlessly because he couldn't remember whether his first name was spelled "Jeffrey" or "Jeffery," and I had never heard anyone else say they couldn't remember how to spell their name.
