The first Matrix movie. Admittedly, the special effects were new and exciting, but the acting was abysmal all around and it contained about 20 plot twists too many. To add insult to injury, everyone - everyone spoke in this strange monotone throughout the entire movie, and I've never been able to figure out exactly what made the director think that was a good idea.
