When my husband is home we all sit down and eat together because he's an absolute stickler about having family dinners. When he's out of town I cheat (please don't put that phrase in the "Quotes Out of Context" thread =/) and let my kids eat in the living room or wherever.
Family dinners are the best, though. Everyone is so busy and sometimes it's the only time in the entire day when everyone is at the same place at the same time. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
