or they could just be putting those things in the code because people will search for them. either way, my bet it if it is mgs it will be like metal gear acid or some other non-canonical game.

how awesome would it be if it were mgs4 subterfuge (or suburb) for xbox 360...

but how much you want to bet it's like zone of the enders or something.

maybe for some, but depending on the console it was released for, zoe3 would probably sell like 20% of mgs4 for xbox360.

also, substance and subsistence were so much better than mgs2 and 3 that a revamped version of mgs4 would probably grab the attention of a lot more people than a zoe game. it may be a better gamer, I am not questioning that, it's just that mgs is much, MUCH more popular and therefore almost anything you do with it will be exciting for a lot more people than zoe.

if it is a new mgs game with raiden, what do you guys make of the countdown? it is too early for a game to be released... but it's pointless to put a countdown in for a simple press-release.

I bet at least one of the big companies will probably attempt a download-only version of a console. It would cut down on so many costs, and with terabyte hard-drives at like $70 space is becoming less and less of an issue.

Isn't there a PSP coming out without a umd drive? I can see some people would be interested in a (arcade like) xbox 360 step-down which can only download games. Think about it, virtually no load times.

i bought my n64 for like 8 bucks at a salvation army and got pilot wings for like 3 on ebay.

Isn't that what it'd cost on the virtual console?

Plus, I got like 10 n64 games for like $20 off another ebay purchase. probably much cheaper than it'd cost on the virtual console, but I wouldn't know since I don't want to pay $300 for wii sports.
