You have to balance both. I know in many situations, I can't be myself because the atmosphere and environment won't permit it.
With my friends, I'm myself. With superiors, I conform to the code of conduct. After a while, you get used to it and it becomes second nature to switch your presentation. Jam it back in, in the dark.  |
