I think it was the Wings defense. They just shutdown every chance available. Even though we did have a couple chances to tie it up (ie Eckmans tip off the crossbar)

It's only one game though and it's against a western team. No biggie. However I do think the second line is pathetic. I can't wait until Malkin get's back to 100% because when he does, you might as well push Leclair to the 4th line.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Well I guess I should feel fortunate that the Hurricanes aren't in our division. What a horrible game tonight.

How ya doing, buddy?

No thats not it at all. A dislocated shoulder will keep you out of action for a long period of time IF you need surgery. In this case Malkin did not need surgery at all.

And what the hell do you mean by a waste of a bench spot exactly? Malkin can have his whole left arm broken and still would player better than some of the Penguins players. (ie. Leclair, Malone)

No, it's not going to happen for many reasons. One of those reasons are the NHL bylaws will not approve a team to move if they have some kind of arena plan in place. If the IOC plan does not go through, the politicians have made a Plan B which will suffice for the bylaws. Deni is just being a turd.

By the way Deni, Has anyone ever told you that your photoshop work is very subtle? I seriously had to look very hard to see that was a fake.

I think I'll like Malkin better anyway since he won't whine like Crosby does at certain times.

I've heard that a couple times, but not a lot. You are right though about how we arent playoff material yet. 1-3 years I think we should be playoff material. However ending this season in .500 would make me happy as it would be a major improvement over the last 4 years.

Coincidentally, we are at .500 right now after the OT win over the Isles tonight. Go figure Gonchar puts it in the net at the end of OT.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

There is no doubt Philly fans are some of the worst scum on the Earth. Not only do they boo like retards, but they are mean as shit just like you said in that example.

I for one am glad that the Flyers are doing so bad this year. Not just because of the rivalry, but also because of their asshole fans.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Brent, I linked it in IRC. Not Capo.

Anyway I went to the Pens and Devils game last night. The crowd was outstanding and really into it. Probably the best was the "GO HOME JERSEY" chants. I really enjoyed myself as the last time I went to a Penguin game, Hedberg was in net.

Malkin's goal was absolutely outstanding to see live. After that goal happened the place erupted. Great game to see in person thats for sure.

Auld gets injured over spilt water from Belfour's bottle of water. To think that Belfour would actually try to WIN the starting spot....geez.

Well you are one of the few FreeHooker. I understand that Canada would want another hockey team. Hell I am in favor of that, they really should. But not the Penguins. Not with their great history and future.

I would think that any owner would move the team if an arena deal fell through. Like Mario said, it's just bad business to keep a team in an old arena that's falling apart.

Uhhh....Capo Mark Eaton was the best defender we had until he got hurt.

I fail to see how that would be a "bad part" of his game. He is a defender, a good one to boot. To be honest the last thing the Pens need is a "defender" who can "score goals."

I went to the Penguin game last night. I should have pictures from it tomorrow if anyone is interested. We got great seats.

To bad Leclavier had to ruin the game for us. Another OTL in the books.

Penguins really need to make some kind of a trade for some defense. Otherwise they are doomed to fail like the last 4 years. The season is still early yet, they are still 7-6-2 which isn't bad, but I feel like I'm witnessing my team self-destructing before my eyes.

I can't believe Mark Eaton's injury means that much to the defense. Hopefully GM Ray Shero can make some moves so he can get rid of some of the crap that Craig Patrick drafted. When I say that I mean faggots like Ryan Whitney.

Oh god why is Therrien playing T-Blo instead of Fleury tonight against the Sabres.

I didn't like our chances to begin with, but now they just got a hell of a lot worse.

You betcha. It was a good game too everyone played great. However it makes you see how the Pens are so incomplete with out Crosby. Though Fleury stole the show last night with some amazing saves.

Yashin is still out too so that really helped

In the last couple games, it has become apparent that Leclair is unnecessary. The new NHL is just passing him by and hes become an annoyance rather than an asset.

Atleast I'll never have to hear the words "Leclair blows a tire" or "Leclair falls down again" from the announcers. That is if a team picks him up. Like Ronz said I wouldnt be suprised if the Flyers picked him up. Afterall they love old and slow players.

Yeah seriously come into chat. We could use another member to piss off the rest of the chatters while we talk hockey.

Also there are rumors that we were trading for Naslund some how. I have no fucking clue who the Pens would offer in return.
