Does anyone know if, once the update is released, new 360 consoles will come with it pre-installed? Look slike I won't be able to afford one until at least september (£600 car repair bill fucked me over a bit) and I don't want to spend the first day of ownership downloading stuff...

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Oh absolutely, to not have one defies logic really. I'm just saying that rather than get upset about it he could have taken some fairly simple remedial action...
