This finally got a European release last friday and I've been playing it a fair bit during the week. Having moved to a new house with decent wi-fi, I can now use my DS online too! I added my Pokemon friend code to the wiki page but bear in mind I've only got two badges so far...

Also, which ability is better for Croagunk? Dry Skin sounds like ass, giving it yet another weakness even if it makes water attacks restorative.

A Feebas would certainly be handy. What sort of times are you normally online? I'm probably between 5 and 7 hours ahead of you but I stay up pretty late as a rule...

I caught a shiny Shellos last night (It's blue rather than pink) which is the first shiny I've ever had in a pokemon game. Are they in any way different from normal pokemon apart from their appearance and if I evolve it, would it be a standard coloured version of whatever it evolves in to? Also, if I put it up on the GTS, would people be able to see it was a shiny (And therefore a better trade I guess)?

I was speaking idiomatically.

I didn't realise there were two versions of Shellos, I got all excited for nothing.

I'm not sure if just having a Japanese psyduck is that much of a promotion really. I've picked up a few Japanese over GTS and frankly, it's annoying having no idea what the fuck they're called or even where to start pronouncing it.

I will admit though to being slightly childish when naming Pokemon I've caught just for trading. There's a fair few Pokemon called stuff like Ilovemen and Poostain floating around now. I figured childish insults was funnier than out and out swearing...
