How many fluid ounces do you drink?

They're talking in litres but they can't spell it right.

I drink a lot of water, probably about 3 litres a day. I also get through at least five cups of tea a day but I am British so that's expected.

It's easy, Vemp. One litre of water weighs exactly one kilogramme. There are 35.27396583786957 ounces in a kilo so all you have to do is look at the volume of drink you have, make an adjustment for the relative density of what you're drinking compared to water to work out the weight in kilos then multiply that amount by 35.27396583786957 to find the weight in ounces, simple mental arithmatic really.

Either that or live in a weird country where people measure liquids by weight rather than volume. Probably the same kind of country that would use an arbitrary measurement like "Cups" for ingredients in a recipe and use bright blue jackets for camouflage, probably in an attempt to look like French people.

There's nowhere I can't reach.
