I would have thought that the company specialising in these things would be able to tell you that yourself. I know you have to pay to use Helvetica commercially (On an album cover at any rate) so I imagine Microsoft would want some money for the use of Arial or whatever. Can you not just ask them for some specifics as one would hope that part of their service includes collecting royalties and covering legal issues like this, otherwise they're just a printing firm rather than a self-publishing firm.
And if you don't send your novel to a publisher, you'll never know if they might have published it. Don't ask don't get, mate. Jam it back in, in the dark.   |
