Your thread title implies that this thread is a copy of this one, yet your intro post suggests you're interested in small details that made a game, rather than "Wow" moments. Should I merge the thread or give it a decent title for you?

Anyway, I remember being mightily impressed the first time I watched a replay in Gran Turismo 3 and saw a heat haze coming off the track. The next racing game to impress me that much graphically was GRID, the first time the door got ripped off my car and in the replay you could see the driver's feet working the pedals. That's quite some attention to detail. I remember being pretty impressed in San Andreas the first time I noticed that the news reports and radio DJ's chat was about one of the missions you just did. Happens after every mission in GTAIV but it was most unexpected in SA. There's nowhere I can't reach. ![]() ![]() |
