The best pc game ever made is Strike Commander, especially the enhanced cd version. Never before or since has such an accurate simulation model been combined with such a gripping storyline. I only wish I could get the damn thing to work on Windows.
Close runners up are Ultima 7, UFO:Enemy Unknown and the original Quake. Jam it back in, in the dark.   |

The best PC game of all time is without doubt Strike Commander.
I've yet to come across a flight sim that combined accurate flying physics with an actual plot so well as this. The graphics for the time were amazing, the characters were memorable and the flying was realistic but still fun. Nothing else has come close before or since in my opinion. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
